There was glamour, there was edginess, and there was (of course) ridiculousness on the red carpet. All courtesy of celebrities, models, designers and anyone else who was either a guest or paid the hefty sum of $25,000 for a ticket!
PS. Shoutout to the fabulous Chiara Ferragni, who was a guest of Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, for making fashion history by being the first blogger ever to attend the MET gala!

Now, I know that everyone is well aware of who Miranda Kerr is. If you don’t, you’ve possibly been living under a rock for the past ten or so years. I’ve always known about her, and always felt just “meh” about the supermodel. Yeah, she’s extremely blessed in the looks department and has been super successful, but my “girl crushes” or “fashion crushes” were always reserved for the likes of Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe and other fashionable Brits. I just have a thing for cool British folks. Don’t ask.
It’s been only recently that I’ve started to pay attention to Kerr’s style and fall in love with almost every outfit, whether glam or casual, that she has been photographed in. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel that her style has evolved a lot these past few years. She is definitely one of my top fashion crushes now. That being said, it’s time for another Style Icon moment; this time with the lovely and stylish Aussie…Miranda Kerr.
