Met Gala 2015: Red Carpet Photos

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute gala, also known as the “Oscars of the fashion world” has come and gone once again. This year’s theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” – the exhibition of the same name (curated and organized by longtime MET curator Andrew Bolton) looks at China’s influence on western fashion and opens this month.

There was glamour, there was edginess, and there was (of course) ridiculousness on the red carpet. All courtesy of celebrities, models, designers and anyone else who was either a guest or paid the hefty sum of $25,000 for a ticket!

PS. Shoutout to the fabulous Chiara Ferragni, who was a guest of Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, for making fashion history by being the first blogger ever to attend the MET gala!

It is that time of the year once again.  A wonderful time for us magazine lovers and fashion addicts; it’s September issue month!

I will post more photos soon, but for now here is Emily Blunt looking fabulous on the cover of Elle UK and Gaga rocking the nude look (including nude coloured nail polish) on the cover of Vanity Fair.
