As We Gear Up for the Toronto Film Festival…

Let’s have a look at some Venice Film Festival fashion!

I really had no other witty/fitting headline or intro sentence for this post *womp womp* (That’s how you know I’m rusty. Please bare with me, this is my first post in over a year!).

In all seriousness though, TIFF is right around the corner (t-2 days)! In preparation for the amazing red carpet looks we are going to see, here are some of my favourite looks from the 73rd Venice Film Festival, which wraps up this Friday.

Met Gala 2015: Red Carpet Photos

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute gala, also known as the “Oscars of the fashion world” has come and gone once again. This year’s theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” – the exhibition of the same name (curated and organized by longtime MET curator Andrew Bolton) looks at China’s influence on western fashion and opens this month.

There was glamour, there was edginess, and there was (of course) ridiculousness on the red carpet. All courtesy of celebrities, models, designers and anyone else who was either a guest or paid the hefty sum of $25,000 for a ticket!

PS. Shoutout to the fabulous Chiara Ferragni, who was a guest of Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, for making fashion history by being the first blogger ever to attend the MET gala!
