Forget Jingles, Miu Miu Sparkles All the Way

These sparkly beauties may not be for everyone, but I think they have a charming quality to them. I really really want a pair of these to dress up a casual look. They would look great with skinny jeans and a black sweater!

I’m in love with the whole glitter and sparkle trend going on at the moment. As if I wasn’t already girly enough to begin with, Miuccia Prada just had to unleash these to the world!

Outfit of the Week: Zoe Saldana in Elie Saab

When I saw first saw Zoe in this emerald sequined gown my first thought was “I need to have it!” Unfortunately it’s way out of my *just out of school and looking for employment* budget. Alas, one can only dream, and keep on admiring this photo, of course!

The gown is from Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 collection. Zoe pulls it off magnificently by not wearing any jewellery; zero accessories are needed since the gown is beautiful on its own.

Emerald green might just be another one of my favourite colours of the season!

Alexa for Madewell, Take Two….

…..And once again Alexa has teamed up with Madewell for a new capsule collection just in time for fall. This super cute collection, which marks Alexa’s second collaboration with Madewell, a sister chain of J. Crew, will hit stores on September 22!

Chanel Cruise Collection 2012

Check out the new Chanel cruise collection. I don’t particularly like the foot wear…at all really. Karl, what were you thinking?? Also, apart from Lily, Karlie and a few others, I’m not too keen on the choice of models for this particular runway show. Other than that, the clothes are nice, the setting is beautiful and the music is great!
